Re: “Paving a New Path

This was all done via recorded FB messaging service.

Re: “Paving a New Path

I have recently been approached by Laurin Crosson (as a Rockstarr Representative) asking me, a USMC veteran, for illegal firearms.

Im not sure what this is about and I adamantly refused her, telling her I don't do ANYTHING like that. Currently, they are reporting me every third day to have me banned from FB for exposing this truth.

You have to love a master plan that comes out after the lanes and streets get screwed up.

Re: “Box Elder County's Broken Court

Judge Christensen wouldn't even listen to me when I tried to tell him about the Brigham City Prison guards beating me while I was held for 48 hours. After torturing me they handcuffed my wrist up through the door and left me in excruciating pain until the doctor arrived. They reported this incident as a fight when I gave no resistance to them beating me senseless before even getting to my cell. For more information on my story please email me an inquiry to Judge Christensen had the power to initiate an investigation and turned the other way at my hearing asking me, "why are you telling me this, there's nothing I can do."

Wow, this embarrassing attempt to justify your earlier trashy rumor mongering story got hidden quickly.

Re: “Council Members LaMalfa & Mendenhall Disclose Relationship

As I read it, the Tribune story is about whether this is news at all. Ironically, the bastion of openess that is City Weekly refused to comment on why you ran a story in the first place, yet you never hesitate to rail on others for not explaining themselves in your gossip pages.

So far, all that has been stated by these two council members is that they have a fondness for each other, which they revealed because of your continued "invasion of privacy." Yet, CW goes out of its way to insinuate sex acts by bringing up a common trip to a conference and calling someone in San Francisco so you can use the word "affair." Give it a rest,

Re: “Same-Sex Sanctuary

I very much appreciate "gay friendly" churches. I moved back to the SLC area recently after many years. I never found a gay affirming church where I lived and was actually kicked out of a SBC church for supporting gay marriage. Thanks for the article.

Re: “For Love or Money

Why does the Tribune have to be "favorable" towards a politician?

Re: “For Love or Money

Anyone who reads the Trib's book can testify that it's a very negative profile on Mia Love. To suggest that this book is in any way favorable towards Mia is laughable.

Re: “A Load Off

Sounds like TGK has time to help out with the homeless. It would be a better use of time than trying to find ways to insult (unsuccessfully) those that are trying to do something.

Re: “A Load Off

:) I finished school TGK haha. I think they added the "background", because publicly, I am more known for my community work. Interesting though, that that is the one think you choose to highlight about this article.

Re: “A Load Off

These are the kinds of articles I love most from City Weekly. Someone trying to do something good for a community that could sure use it.

Re: “A Load Off

Does "background in design engineering" mean "I didn't finish school?"

"As an engineer [which I am not, but I will happily give myself the title], you have to think about all of the negative problems and figure out ways to implement solutions before it even happens," Brooks says.

Re: “Life For a Life

i think it is terrible to think she could say this....

"It’s too overwhelming to think of somebody you loved more than anything else in the world whose life is gone because of your choices and actions. I live with that every day.”

and think anyone is going to believe her. If she truly felt that way, her daughter wouldn't be dead. no reason in the world why she SHOULDN'T live with that every day!

Re: “Home Sweet Shipping Container

I was going "RIGHT ON" until i read the part about the price, In what world do you live in where 100 to 125 thousand dollars qualifies as "low income"? I don't know what he paid for those shipping containers but in my world that leaves a VERY hefty sum of money left over for interior decorating

Re: “Home Sweet Shipping Container

I am from Australia and the cost of living over here is becoming really difficult for single people , on low incomes. The concept is brilliant and there are companies doing this now in Australia! It is a good start although the prices quoted aren't realistic for many people! With the right Architects that have community at heart that price can be halved! Also off grid is a good concept in the right environment , people are able to become more self sufficient also! Using the roof as a garden etc. it's a positive start , these ideas have to start somewhere !!
