Kevin DeLuca: Creating Wilderness

Kevin DeLuca will share his research on the political and cultural role of images in the U.S. environmental movement. His Art Talk will focus on Ansel Adams and the Wilderness Act (50th Anniversary this year), 19th Century photographs such as those by Carleton Watkins and their role in conservation, as well as more contemporary work. This exciting research will be published soon thanks to a generous grant from the Utah Humanities Council.
