Voters voted for an improvement in the transit system. Voters did not vote for bus routes cuts and changes that increase the number of vehicles on the road and increase unemployment due to individuals losing their transportation to work.
Voters did not vote for the disabled and the elderly losing their independence because of bus routes being canceled. Voters did not vote for an inefficient transit system.
Voters did not vote for Utah Transit Authority executives to receive excessive and bonuses at taxpayers’ expense.
A good bus system helps job growth and the economy.
