I just wanted to say that I really enjoy/appreciate your column on how to get involved [Citizen Revolt, Aug. 18, City Weekly].
I went to the meeting to fight Walmart, and I wouldn’t have known about it without you. Also, it was my first city-council meeting ever.
It seems like so much news and movies and talk-radio people get us riled up and ready to take action, and then most of us are left wondering how. Not anymore.
Thanks again, and keep fighting the good fight.
