Dear GYA, I played my first game in over five years the other night and I gotta say it feels good to be back on the mound. But it seems like people don't want to talk about my 88 mph pitch -- all they want to talk about is my perfectly frosted hair. Well, screw 'em. I'm looking to celebrate tonight so I'm throwing on my acid-washed jeans and my silky paisley shirt. Anything good happening? - Roger Clemens---

Roger, hopefully, this is a stepping stone back to the big leagues for you. Major League Baseball is in low supply of bleach-whispered hair. Here's what's happening tonight:

Speaking of baseball, The Salt Lake Bees will be taking on the Tuscan Padres at Spring Mobile Ballpark. Tonight is Smith's Family night, which means tickets are only $5 and every ticket comes with a hot dog. Shop around, you can't beat that price. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

The psychedelic pop band Yeasayer will be playing at In The Venue/Club Sound. Last May, the Brooklyn-based crew debuted its newest track "The Devil and The Deed" on Conan. Their latest album Fragrant World just came out Aug. 20th. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Gilbert and Sullivan classic The Pirates of Penzance will be going down at Terrace Plaza Playhouse.  It's the classic tale of young love, pirates and the perils of being born in a leap year. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10-$12.

Other worthwhile events happening today:

- The always-free Lunch Bunch Concert Series will be going on at the Gallivan Center today at noon.

- It's Pub Quiz Night at the Republican ,beginning at 9:30 p.m.

- Soultree Electronica will be going down at The Woodshed tonight at 9 p.m.
