The Salt Lake City Public Library has placed a bee hive on the rooftop garden. A recently passed ordinance by the Salt Lake City Council allows for backyard bee keepers to maintain hives in town. Frank Whitby, a backyard bee keeper spoke to Zionized about the hive and the honey. Don't worry about getting stung, these bees are nice unless you stick a camera in their hive.
