Wind Ensemble User Submitted

The Wind Ensemble, conducted by Scott Hagen, starts its season with a dynamic program, ranging from classic to brand new. The program features Riften Wed, a newly composed work by Emmy Award-winning composer Julie Giroux. Also featured is Gordon Jacob’s An Original Suite, which owes its enormous popularity in band repertory to its folk-inspired tunes. "Apollo Unleashed," the vigorous third movement of Frank Ticheli's Symphony No. 2 challenges every section of the ensemble.
