Up north in Bountiful lies a restaurant that is both owned and operated by the man who is its namesake. Vito Leone’s cheesesteak ranks up there with high-profile Philadelphia cheesesteak emporiums like Pat’s, Geno’s, Jim’s and Tony Luke’s. Leone, himself, is a one-man construction crew who’s always found behind the counter of his small eatery. Because he constantly cooks, he can’t be bothered with handling money, so there’s a highly unusual payment system: customers stash their cash into a hole in the counter and make change from coin jars.
