After reading the Opinion column in the Sept. 16 issue, I felt compelled to commend Jim Catano on his brilliant and insightful comments [“Déjà Vu,” City Weekly]. I admire his courage in suggesting that the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks were possibly retaliatory and suggesting that American Muslims be provided the same rights as everyone else. After all, we don’t round up all the Christians every time one of them kills an abortion doctor or bombs a medical clinic.
