Riding a bike to the bar has been a very good thing for me. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes to go to the bar often. It is peaceful, plus you get exercise and you sober a bit on the ride home.
People aren't going to stop going to the bar and drinking. Paying $15 each way for a cab is completely unreasonable. Riding a bike doesn't hurt anyone else, and it keeps people from jumping into their mulit-thousand pound death machines and killing people. I am sure that the people who have lost their loved ones to a drunk driver would be much happier if the person would have been riding a bike instead...
If getting a DUI on a bike becomes possible or common place, you can definitely expect the number of drunk drivers to go up, and isn't that something that we would like to avoid?
Who's up for a pub crawl!?
I am actually surprised there isn't a good daycare downtown. I think that's probably a million dollar idea... Maybe the new building on Main would work for the purpose...
This is by far the best sushi in town and a great environment. The only bad part is that you usually have to a while for a table, but you can't really blame them for doing so well. I absolutely love the TNT roll. The "hotter than hell" sauce really lives up to its name.
Honestly, the Funky Charley is my favorite roll ever! I also love their vegi tempura better than most other places.
I am seriously ruined after Cindy Lee. I find myself comparing all other Asian food to them and they everyone else always fails miserably... When they closed down a while back for remodeling, I thought I was going to die. I hope they never go away, because if they do, I am going to have to stalk them for that yummy General Tso's Bean Curd.
