Café Sha Sha owner Connie Romboy thinks that to boost Salt Lake City vitality, City Hall should encourage employers to let employees take a lunch hour that’s one hour long.

Everybody’s on a 30-minute lunch break now, and it’s killing people to do lunch. I had a customer point that out. There used to be a little deli around the corner that used to be packed. Now, it’s rush, rush, rush. People can’t sit and have a real lunch. They go some place and do a go and grab, they grab and go to the office. It saves money, and I’ve got no problem with that. But it’s just this constant rush, rush, rush. What’s the big hurry all about?
