“These buildings that’ve been sitting empty in downtown Salt Lake City for a long time'with the property owners just sitting on them, property banking, if you want to call it'I would set a time limit where they would have to actually do something with the buildings: sell them, remodel them, refurbish them, do something. Perfect example down the street, where the Zephyr building’s been sitting vacant for almost two years. It’s totally destroyed that corner'no action on that corner. Maybe that’s anti-American and so on but, you know what, that’s the way it is.
