The local new kings of dance Muscle Hawk released their debut EP The Speed of Dark at W Lounge Jan. 30 to a crowd of dancing fiends. The stage area was packed with revelers as Josh, Greg and Lindsay (aka Kid Madusa) brought a new flavor to the scene.

Riding high on a swell of recent good press and radio play, this group pumped out pulsing BPM that made the club’s collective heart muscle race. Check out “FridayNightCoffin,” on the EP and see if you can stop your glutes from jumping: I dare you. Muscle Hawk’s next gig is at Bar Deluxe on Feb. 13.
