Did you ever feel your prayers were answered?

nn

We were in Caracas visiting two women that were sisters who lived together. They had been baptized into the church eight years previously but had never gone back. When we were talking to them, they were emotional because they had some things happen in their lives and wanted to go back to church. Right when we got finished, we said the prayer. As soon as we said, ‘Amen,’ gunshots start flying. The women yelled, ‘Asuelo!’ (to the floor) so we dived down on the floor to the ground. Afterwards, they said it was because different gangs were fighting in the street. It was one of the most dangerous areas of South America and was a pretty normal experience there.
