Run into any dead ends on your mission?

nn

We were advised by the mission presidency not to stay up too late in Curitiba and there was an open sewer we weren’t supposed to cross at all. But we did. One day, we were walking around and I looked down and on the street was a person laying down with blood coming out of his head. I didn’t quite know what to do, so I said, “Sir, sir” and tried to nudge him but he wasn’t moving. I thought, “Oh, great, what do we do?” I knocked at the door of the nearest house, and the guy barely opened the door. I said, “There’s a dead guy lying in front of your house on the street.” He looked out for a second and said, “So what? I don’t want any trouble,” and closed the door and locked it. That’s when I knew it was time to get out of there before people thought the Mormon missionaries killed someone.
