nnDid anyone hit on you while you served?
nnYeah. There was this woman from my hometown. She was separated from her husband at the time and always inviting my companion and me over for dinner. I was getting the vibe off of her, and it became pretty clear that it was more than a little crush. It really got weird when she started using the junior-high method of feeling out the situation by telling her sister to tell me that she wanted me. The freakiest part about it was she knew me as a child. In fact, I think she may have even babysat me. She had kids who were only a year or two younger than I was. Bizarre.
