What was your most bizarre experience while living among our northern neighbors?

nn

“I get terrible migraines. At the time, I didn’t realize they were prompted by my allergy to MSG. The elders treated me with blessings, telling me that the headaches would disappear over time. One day I suffered the worst migraine while trying to convert a woman across the street. She, a member of the United Assemblies of God, noticed I looked ill and offered me a blessing. She placed her hands on my head and started talking in tongues. It freaked me out, but when I got back home, my migraine was gone. Obviously, that woman had some sort of power. It contributed to my philosophy that there is truth all over the place and that Mormons don’t necessarily have a monopoly on it.nn
