The annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival this year will be a bit tastier than usual. Developed to “heighten festival attendees’ experience,” the Taste of Art program incorporates 16 of Park City’s restaurants into the festival. Participating restaurants will be offering special deals, dinners, lunches and brunches, which vary from business to business and range from two-for-one entrees at spots like Butcher’s Chop House, Bangkok Thai on Main, and The Eating Establishment, to special prix fixe menus at Reef’s Restaurant and discounts at Reyes Adobe and Shabu. Other eateries participating in Taste of Art include Atticus Coffee & Tea House, The Grub Steak, High West Distillery & Saloon, J&G Grill at the St. Regis, La Niche, Main Street Pizza & Noodle, Silver, Yuki Arashi and Zoom. The Arts Festival is extended this year and begins Friday, Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday, Aug. 7 until 6 p.m. For additional information, visit KimballArtCenter.org.

New Metro Happenings
On July 29, Metropolitan will host the “New Moon Harvest Dinner”—a true farm-to-table dinner at Copper Moose Farm in Park City. Under the guidance of Metro chef Justin Shifflett, attendees can tour the organic Copper Moose Farm, help select veggies, fruits and greens from the farm, and prepare the meal, plus enjoy great wine and cocktails throughout the evening. The cost for the New Moon Harvest Dinner is $125 per person and can be purchased at CopperMooseFarm.com. Also, at Metropolitan every Saturday night, chef Shifflett creates a “Farm to Fork” menu featuring fresh ingredients purchased at the Saturday Downtown Farmers Market. The cost for the Farm to Fork menu is $45 for five courses. For further information, phone Metropolitan at 801-364-3472.

Mangia!
A new Italian restaurant, Siragusa’s, has opened in Taylorsville at 4115 S. Redwood Road. Siragusa’s offers an extensive menu ranging from sandwiches and pasta dishes to shrimp scampi, pork osso buco, chicken cacciatore and homemade tiramisu, plus beer and wine. Phone 801-268-1520 for reservations.
