Superstar!: Karaoke at Jam
Jimmie River hosts the best LGBT-friendly karaoke night every Wednesday at Club Jam (751 N. 300 West) in the Marmalade district. The evening begins with food at 5 p.m., with eats like hummus and wings, and then continues into the self-billed “Gayest Karaoke in America!” to finish off the night.

Heavy Hitters: Celebrations at The Hotel
Two amazing things happen in one night on Saturday, Feb. 4, at The Hotel (150 W. 200 South): PAC’s DJ Juggy celebrates his birthday with special guest DJ Enuff (of Heavy Hitters DJ collective). DJ Enuff has never been to Utah, and DJ Juggy only has one birthday a year, which means the club is bound to be packed to the gills. To get on the VIP list or reserve a table, call Riley at 801-860-7180.

Hidden Hollow: Carol’s Cove II
The original Carol’s Cove had to move but, fortunately, not far. Right across the street from its old location, you can find Carol’s Cove II (3424 S. State). Carol Mills pops in every day, just like she did at the original location, and talks to her regulars. And every third Saturday, popular ’70s cover-band Disco Inferno plays a show.
