Soul & Bones BBQ has reopened at a new location: 2432 Washington Blvd. The revamped menu ranges from fried okra and crawfish beignet appetizers to po’boys, etouffee, jambalaya, blackened amberjack and barbecue specialties like St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked chicken, baby back ribs and more. In addition, Soul & Bones sports a jam-packed live music lineup featuring the likes of the Liz Woolley Trio, Tim Daniels, Working in Shifts and the great Zach Parrish. Free Flapjacks
On Tuesday, Feb. 28—National Pancake Day—IHOP will give guests one free short stack of its signature buttermilk pancakes, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., at its 1,500-plus U.S. restaurant locations. In return, IHOP will invite guests to make a voluntary donation to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities, hoping to break a record by raising more than $2.7 million. Meet the Producers in PC
Slow Food Park City and the Swaner EcoCenter invite you to Meet the Producers on Thursday, March 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Swaner EcoCenter (258 New Main St., Park City, 435-649-1767). This is an opportunity to meet local farmers, ranchers, bakers and artisan-food producers and sample their products, as well as sign up for CSA (community supported agriculture) shares and learn where to find locally and sustainably produced food in the Park City area. There will also be drawings for prizes, including local artisan cheeses, pickles, beef, jams and more.
