Journey Stories, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition, explores how migration and transportation built our nation, how it has changed us, and how our mobile world looked to travelers along the way. An accompanying local exhibition, "From Obstacle to Opportunity: the Green and Yampa Rivers" compares Green and Yampa River journeys over the last 150 years to show changes in who ran the river, how they traveled, and why they bothered. “River Ramblings,” an open art and photography exhibit is on display. Journey Stories is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Utah Humanities Council.
