Main Street has always been a 2 steps forward 3 steps back locale over the past decade - my fears are that the steps forward have been constantly diminishing and will get worse until the City Creek project is wrapped up 4 years from now at which time it may be cost prohibitive for small businesses to exist here anymore - it may be too late to resurrect Main Street but something needs to be done to fill in the gaps with unique retail or it will only continue to go down hill!
