The real hero of the game was Utah's quarter back Travis Wilson. Wilson had an up and down season, and struggled to maintain a secured quarterback position. "(I'm) really happy. Really blessed that we had the opportunity to come here, to Vegas and play. I'm just really happy for all of the success (of the team)," said Travis Wilson. Wilson had three rushing touch downs in the bowl game against Colorado State, and was also named MVP by the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. "Definitely happy with how we played. I wish I had a little bit better completion percentage. I missed on a couple of those deep balls," said Wilson. He was 17-for-26 passing for 158 yards and had a season high of 91 yards rushing (11 carries). "I was seeing that the running was really working for me so I was taking advantage of it," said Wilson.
