Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

To "Freethinker" a/k/a Helen Radkey: what if those people in the jewish organizations with whom you correspond knew of your note in this site suggesting that commenters "goose step" back to their respective churches. They would not appreciate such words. Do they really know you?

Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

Helen Radkey: you are not fooling anyone -- except perhaps yourself. In an earlier comment, you stated that "I have current work engagements and will not be responding to any more posts here." But you did, indeed, respond to more posts here, both under your real name and under your pseudonym "Freethinker". You don't fool anyone. In any event, thanks for your (very long) explanation -- or biography -- of Mr. Bundy. My question, which is a very simple one, is why would a woman, any woman, take such interest in a man like Bundy? You know the circumstances of his birth, his birth name, what he did during his life, and where he died -- you even have a video recording of his last interview! What on earth would cause a woman to take so much personal interest in a man like him? Please tell us. Since you have time to tell us all about Bundy, I assume you have completed all those important "work engagements." Looking forward to hearing from either you or your imaginary friend, Freethinker.

Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

Ms. Radkey, with all those "assignments", you must be extremely busy. Thankfully, your "current work engagements" didn't keep you from writing your Ted Bundy letter to this paper. Too bad they have now become so urgent that you won't be able to defend the letter. But when you find the time, would you mind searching the index to see if Mormon temple work has been done for Genghis Khan? I'm aching to know. Please accept this as one more "assignment".

Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

Helen, clearly this thing is very personal for you. I'm simply wondering why and how it became so personal for you. But while you're considering that answer, answer this question: if someone submitted the name "Theodore Robert Cowell" to the LDS Church for temple work, how do you know that person knew that Theodore Robert Cowell was Bundy's real name? Who, besides you, would know that, or even care? And further, why should it make any difference to you? One more thing: How did you find "Vlad the Impaler" and "Blackbeard the Pirate" in the temple index? Were they christened with those names? It's obvious you've spent a lot more time on the LDS Church's index than you want to admit.

Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

No, Helen, I don't think your letter is really about Ted Bundy or the LDS Church. Rather, as you know, it's all about Helen Radkey. And what's this about "cult tactics"? If you use such phrases, please do us the favor of providing a definition.

Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

But, Helen, isn't it "wasting time with futile exercises" when a woman like you, who was once a member of the LDS Church, spends her time getting back at the church by looking up the names of "tyrants, mass murderers, pirates, gangsters and other notorious criminals" on the church's website? And how about the time you spend in calling the names to the attention of, as you see it, the world? Are you going to change the practices of mormons? If not, why isn't your letter to this paper a futile exercise?

Re: “The Baptism of Ted Bundy

Helen, You seem to have lots of time on your hands. How long does it take to run through all those names and come up with your list of "tyrants, mass murderers, pirates, gangsters and other notorious criminals"? How do you do find time to do anything else? Sincerely, Roger
