One in four women experience or live with a form of abuse within an intimate relationship that threatens her emotional or physical well-being. “Prevail” is a panel discussion that will examine how to recognize the many forms of abuse, offer techniques to confront abusive behavior and pave the way to finding personal resilience.
“Prevail” will be joined by panelists Alana Kindness, Executive Director of the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault (UCASA); Detective Justin Boardman; Lindsay Hansen-Park, a women’s rights activist for Mormon women and feminist blogger; and moderator Cat Palmer, award winning artist, photographer and activist.
