My family recently dined at Talisker on Main in Park City. We had an amazing time—we had the most incredible service, and the food couldn’t have tasted better. However, I take exception to Ted Scheffler’s statement [“Not-So-New Kid in Town,” March 18, 2010, City Weekly] that “the portion sizes aren’t skimpy; they are built for sharing.” Not.
Everyone loved what they ate—all four bites of it, and then went home and ate again. I was not hungry, and so I only ordered the Brussel sprout salad and the fried egg and pork belly appetizer. My husband wanted a bite of my egg and pork belly, and that small bite was a third of what was on my plate.
