How refreshing it is for us Utahns to live in a state where the present conditions are so good that Rep. Carl Wimmer, R-Herriman, in a very limited session, can afford the time to introduce, debate and vote on a bill creating an official state gun.
Hell, while they are at it, why not introduce a bill creating an official state chemical weapon? I think the nerve gas otherwise known as Agent VX should be considered over the more archaic mustard gas. After all, it got more worldwide press when the sheep started to drop near Dugway in 1968. As a deterrent, one can only speculate as to the lives that would have been lost without it.
