This super-friendly greasy spoon is a breakfast lover’s Nirvana, a place where the big breakfast isn’t yet unlawful. That’s probably why it’s usually jammed. We wouldn’t exactly call it a Food TV style demonstration kitchen, but it is situated smack dab in the middle of the restaurant where you can keep an eye on your spuds if you sit at the counter. After an Over the Counter Café breakfast, you might not be hungry again for days. But if you do decide to return for lunch, order the half-pound hamburger. Be forewarned though, this is a cash-only operation.
