The Live To Run 5K is a community event held for the purpose of raising money to assist with the medical expenses of Britton Poppleton, a community member who was recently diagnosed with cancer and is currently receiving extensive treatment. Its purpose is also to raise cancer awareness, particularly for Ewing’s Sarcoma, which is the type of cancer Britton is diagnosed with. We are anxiously looking forward to great success at this year’s event, which will be held on April 25, 2015.
