Great piece. There are two errors you might want to correct, though. First, there are no federal grazing 'rights' even though public lands ranchers use that term; federal agencies issue revocable permits to graze livestock. Second, though extraction industries and some politicians seeking state control of federal lands use the term 'return,'there is no legal or historical basis that allows for 'return' of public lands; the accurate term is 'hand over.'
