Local duo joy&eric have developed a wide range of acoustic music, in which they combine sparse, recognizable melodies and complex guitar work, and play all genres of music from pop to reggae. They have performed all over North America and opened for such acts as The Neville Brothers, Eric Johnson, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Coldplay, Smash Mouth, Hall and Oates, and Chicago. The Grand Theatre, located in Salt Lake Community College’s Center for Arts and Media, produces quality community theatre, educational outreach programs and cooperative partnerships to enrich the community through the performing arts and humanities.
