A famous messiah said life would not be easy, but he assured his audience it is worth the struggle. New York Times best-selling author Jason F. Wright attempts to convey a similar message in his most recent work, The Cross Gardner.

The book is an inspirational fiction about John Bevan, who loses the love of his life and the family they had begun to build in a tragic car accident. The loss debilitates John, and his life stands still until a stranger—known only as The Cross Gardner—helps John mend his wounds and discover peace within the world’s cynical cycles.

The Cross Gardner is a story that can deliver readers to a world where, despite loss and uncertainty, hope is king—if only for a few hours. Wright also wrote The Wednesday Letters and Christmas Jars, a story that led to relief programs in which individuals donate collected pocket change to neighbors in need.
