Corpse dredging is back!
Among the most recently recovered stiffs are the waterlogged bodies of three Wyoming men drowned in Flaming Gorge on New Year’s Eve over 11 years ago. According to The Associated Press, human divers brought them up'and stopped right there. Thankfully, there was no hint of a plan to recruit that overachieving carcass-recovery robot from 2006, which continued to pull body after body out of Strawberry Reservoir long after authorities thought the last drowning victim had been crossed off the list.
If the thought of floaters in the drinking water is off-putting, it might be time to seek other sources of water'that is, if you don’t mind drinking perchlorate, a weird rocket-fuel additive recently discovered in the well at Artesian Park at 500 E. 800 South. For that matter, don’t forget about the mysterious chemical spill that killed all the trout in Parley’s Creek last month.
Still, it’s important to stay hydrated. Our recommendation? Stick to beer. It’s safer.
