After the Legislature rammed a bill through both houses to grant government the ability to cloak its operations in an unprecedented level of secrecy, the people are pushing back. Join a rally at the Capitol to remind legislators not to rush transparency. Shine a Light on Government
Thursday, March 10

A rushed attempt to rewrite Utah’s 20-year-old open-government records law resulted in a citizen backlash that has forced a recall of the bill. Regardless, activists are rallying at the Capitol to let legislators know that good policymaking can’t be rushed simply to cut out the public’s input.

Big Fabulous Dress Resale Event
Saturday, March 12

Salt Lake City’s Christ United Methodist Church is holding a dress resale event where local sellers can sell their finest shoes, dresses, evening gowns, prom dresses and other fashionable attire. Thirty percent of the proceeds will go to help charities supported by the United Methodist women and youth.
