This weekend, Salt Lake County Animal Services and Best Friends Animal Society are holding a pet-adoption event with $5 cats and $50 dogs. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and ready to go home with you. Cottonwood Park Improvement

Give a little green back to the neighborhood—not money, that is, but just your time, effort, sweat and civic spirit to help improve a Salt Lake City park. Volunteers are asked to come help paint, weed, rake and do other work at Cottonwood Park, a favorite spot in the city for bicyclists and dog owners. Bring your own water, sunscreen and work clothes. Walk to Cure Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a complex skin disease that affects for life the individuals who
contract it. The disease is one that still puzzles the scientific community, but for the support community, there’s
nothing complicated about the need to get out, speak up and walk to raise
