23rd Annual Ability Ski Challenge
Saturday, March 5
The National Ability Center is looking for skiers ready to race down Park City Mountain Resort for a good cause. The NAC has long been dedicated to building self-esteem through integrating folks with physical and cognitive disabilities into all manner of sports. This winter, powder lovers can support this cause by registering ski-racing teams for $1,000 or individuals for $250, with proceeds benefiting the NAC’s mission of bringing sports and fun to athletes of all abilities.

Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker will propose adding Housing Diversity to his Sustainability Code Development Project. The commission will also hear a conditional-use permit request for developments along 44 acres of the Jordan River Parkway for the controversial Regional Athletic Complex that’s recently been protested as an illegal development that could potentially damage vital river ecosystems.
