Ochoa, painting in oil, deconstructs the figure and adds text in English and Spanish for a nontraditional approach to figurative painting. At 30, his vision and yearly output is prolific, Nester says; more than 12 works will be shown. Archer, working in bronze and copper, is nearly classical in his renderings, Nester says. His elaborate projects focus on woman and nature—the nude form juxtaposed by organic-looking matter like branches.
