Fiddler on the Roof, beloved by audiences for over thirty years, tells the tale of Tevye, the dairyman, as he attempts to raise his daughters with a sense of tradition in a world of changing norms. Set in rural Russia at the turn of the century, the story shines a light on values of tradition, family and survival as Tevye, and ultimately the entire village, face obstacles to their faith and futures. Fiddler on the Roof is known for its timeless songs such as Sunrise, Sunset, If I Were a Rich Man, and Matchmaker, and will leave audiences laughing and crying as they experience life in this unique culture. Fiddler on the Roof was the first Broadway musical to pass 3,000 performances and was later made into an Academy Award winning film that has touched the lives of millions. The production is directed by Caleb Parry, music directed by Rick Rea, choreographed by Kacee Neff and costumed by Becky Cole.
