Since 2004, the Face of Utah Sculpture exhibition has provided more than 50 Utah artists a forum to present the fairly placid, yet intriguing culture of Utah through figurative and abstract sculptural form. The root of this exhibit stems from the brilliant mind of glass artist Dan Cummings and features an eclectic mix of well-known and emerging Utah sculptors. This year’s Face of Utah V will showcase traditional and contemporary sculpture in a variety of styles, structure, methods and media, resulting in a thrilling and diverse mix of artistic talent and skill.

The public is invited to attend an opening reception June 11, 6-8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to engage with both the sculptors and their creations, as several artists participating in the exhibition will be available to discuss their artwork. The evening includes food, live music and paramount new works produced by Utah’s finest sculptors. Cash prizes will be awarded in three categories.

Face of Utah Sculpture V @ Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South, 965-5100, June 11-Aug. 4. Opening reception, Thursday, June 11, 6-8:30 p.m. CulturalCelebration.org
