I love this new program! In years past my neighbors and surrounding residents were astonished at the taller-than-my-head trash piles that would accumulate on the streets. We are talking larger piles than would fit in one train-car-sized dumpster. One such resident created the facebook group "The SLC TRASHPOCALYPSE" or the twitter account @trashpocalypse and you can see the photos of the horribly huge trash piles. The photos don't even show how bad it got, like when it rained and the water pools there and all the junk gets soaked and floats around and off into the storm drain. I'm so happy to see the number of trash pile incidents has decreased with this new program! Seriously!
