Drawing from the Lake

When: Feb. 25-26, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. 2015
Price: Free
The Great Salt Lake has both awed and inspired me for the past 20 years. Due to the lake’s unique natural environment, its appearance is altered hour by hour and day by day. Its cultural, artistic and geologic history also inform its appearance: the lake never looks the same from one person to the next. Manufactured lines can be founded on Great Salt Lake’s surface, taking on the appearance of elegant drawings. These photographs capture select segments of the lake inspired by color, form and pattern.
