I’ve also mentioned my affection for the pizza at Little Italy in Sandy (9284 S. 700 East, 255-0363). I just learned that Little Italy has partnered with Elfie’s Organic Farm in Layton and according to Little Italy owner Kathy Galati, they will be using local, organic, in-season produce in the restaurant “in an effort to give our customers the very best.” Galati informs me that Elfie’s even plans to grow organic escarole so the luscious Wedding Soup at Little Italy will be truly authentic!
Park City’s Washington School Inn has announced its spring lineup of cooking classes. The spring schedule focuses on international cuisine, with hands-on instruction from executive chef Steve Vierk.
