Utah native Debra Drecksel wears enough hats that you’d wonder if she were a hydra. The one-time attorney has found success as a personal and corporate trainer and is celebrating the paperback release of her debut novel, the romantic drama Hidden Dimensions.

This weekend, at two different venues, Drecksel will be showing off some of her many talents. On Thursday at The King’s English Bookshop, she’ll lead a workshop on “Getting Your Needs Met in Relationships,” a hands-on session focusing on dealing with common causes of communication frustration. Then on Saturday, join her at Dolly’s Bookstore in Park City for a reading and signing session from Hidden Dimensions, the tale of a frustrated medical student on a journey of self-discovery—and she’ll be bringing along chocolates for those who attend. Is there anything she can’t do?

Debra Drecksel @ The King’s English Bookshop, 1511 S. 1500 East, 801-484-9100, Sept. 2, 7 p.m.; @ Dolly’s Bookstore, 510 Main, Park City, 435-649-8062, Sept. 4, 2 p.m. AuthorDebra.com
