Colt .46: "Thanks, City Weekly, for the nomination. We're honored to be considered. Colt.46 is four guys with varied influences, but the one thing we all share is the respect for real country music. We're not hardline about it, and not all of our music is pure country, but it's definitely a current that runs through everything we do. We write what we know. It's not too polished--more ragged, we reckon--but it's from the gut and it's real, and hopefully some part of it rings true for everyone."
