Risky Business
Every month, local LGBT friendly neighborhood bar Club Try-Angles (251 W. 200 South), hosts a soiree for the unabashed. On Oct. 16, patrons are encouraged to strip down to their unmentionables and shimmy the night away to DJ Dennis’ ‘80s-pop mix.

Strange Brew: The Green Pig
Former Port O’Call manager Bridget Gordon’s new venture swept away the ghosts of Cabana Club with a joint that prizes pigskin over dueling pianos. Monday night football at The Green Pig (31 E. 400 South) features $3 spaghetti dinners and various drink specials. Tuesdays are college nights with inexpensive drink-plus-shot combos and live acts take up residency Wednesdays through Saturdays. Sundays are Fundays with a brunch/ lunch buffet from 10 to 2 as well as football appropriate drink specials. Go pig-out any time: The bar is open during the day for great pub fare and pints.

Rootbeer Minderasers
In addition to a killer vegetarian-friendly menu, The Green Pig also serves a mean twist on a soda-fountain favorite courtesy of owner Bridget Gordon.

1 oz. Three Olives Rootbeer Vodka
3/4 oz. Chapala Coffee Liquer
Soda water
Serve on the rocks in a tumbler
