In 2009, Utah author Bree Despain introduced readers to Grace Divine, a teenager who was torn between love and her family when mysterious family friend Daniel Kalbi—who had disappeared under alarming circumstances years earlier—re-entered her life in The Dark Divine. Now, the consequences of that return are making themselves more fully known in Despain’s follow-up, The Lost Saint.

Grace was willing to risk her soul to rescue Daniel from an eternal curse in the first volume, costing Grace her relationship with her brother, Jude. In an attempt to find him, Grace teams up with Talbot, a newcomer to town who might know a way Grace can redeem herself. But will their relationship risk Grace’s connection to Daniel? Or will the dark force that is now inside of Grace prove more threatening?

Join the author for the official book-release event, and be part of Utah’s latest contribution to best-selling young-adult literature.
