Bar Deluxe

The Slippery Kittens held their annual fund-raiser at Bar Deluxe last weekend, offering prospective burlesque dancers a chance to try out for the troupe. Highlights included Soy Boy (yes, a guy—doing a “My Ding-A-Ling” routine) and a young (female) contestant dressed as a nun. Several tattooed and pompadour-ed individuals lined the stage and rooted for their favorites as the wide variety of potential troupe members shook their goods and stripped to unmentionables. It was definitely one of the more eye-popping events in town.
