Annual Birdhouse Competition and Exhibit

Are you feeling woodsy, crafty, wild, sleek, modern, sustainable or colorful? Now is the time to get out your supplies, let the creativity flow, and start building birdhouses. Details and entry forms at www.ogdennaturecenter.org.
Entries are due March 23-28 at the Ogden Nature Center, 966 W. 12th St., Ogden. There is no entry fee. Birdhouses selected for the exhibit will be displayed April 18 through June 30 along Birdhouse Trail at the Ogden Nature Center. Winners will receive awards on April 16 at 5:30 pm at the Ogden Nature Center. All types of birdhouses are welcome: whimsical, beautiful, practical, functional, artistic or magical – but they all need to be sturdy! Entries may be sold, donated to the Nature Center, or taken home after the exhibit – it’s up to the builder to decide. If the birdhouse is sold, all fees will be given directly to the artist.
