Act Like An Adult, Robert

Now that Robert Grant’s angry, ignorant letter has been published [“Act Like Adults, Boozers,” July 16, City Weekly], may I make a suggestion to Grant and his ilk?

Can you begin to act like adults now and quit trying to run us off the road while talking on your cell phone and driving your nine kids to some Especially for Youth activity in your gas-guzzling SUV? Stop hanging around the ward-house gossiping about your non-Mormon neighbors and their evil, boozing ways. Stop walking down the street in duos, dressed identically, in the middle of the day knocking on doors trying to convert people to your religion and otherwise making smartass comments about non-Mormons.

Doesn’t it feel good to be stereotyped and generalized?
