Get off your moral high horse! Why should residents have to "hire security" so homeless individuals don't enter their property. There are plenty of areas in this valley better suited for homeless shelters than residential areas that have been chosen. This is totally money driven. The city has had years to clean this mess up, Anderson and Becker! I commend the city and county for trying to fix this problem. But this appears to be hurry and get the money, think about the impact later. Our officials are elected. REMEMBER THIS! What makes the city and county mayor's think these sites are going to be different than Rio Grande? The people will take the problems with them. That is human nature.
